Last updated: April 28, 2026

Entri Software Private Limited ("Entri") acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). This Policy explains our data practices for the Entri Jobs platform (entrijobs.com and/or jobs.entri.app/jobs).

Explicit Consent and Scope

You provide free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to the processing of your personal data by completing a clear affirmative action, specifically by clicking the "I Agree" checkbox at the point of account creation, job application submission, or profile publication.

  • Consent is specific to the purposes enumerated in Section 3.

  • You may withdraw your consent at any time via your account settings or by contacting the Grievance Officer. Withdrawal of consent is prospective only and shall not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

Information We Collect

  • Information You Provide:

    • Job Seekers: Name, email, phone number, resumes, educational history, and skills.

    • Employers: Company name, recruiter details, billing data, and corporate registration numbers.

  • Automated, Analytics & Demographic Data: Device type, IP address, OS, interaction metrics, and inferred or self-reported demographic information (such as location, age bracket, and professional experience level) used to build user profiles.

  • Third-Party Data & Sensitive Personal Data: Data from payment gateways or verification partners. Where a background check or identity verification process involves Sensitive Personal Data (including biometric or financial information), Entri will obtain separate, specific, prior consent and apply heightened security safeguards consistent with the SPDI Rules, 2011, and the DPDP Act, 2023.

Purpose of Data Processing

We process your personal data to:

  • Authenticate user identities and facilitate recruitment matching.

  • Process Success Fees and transactional communications securely.

  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.

  • Algorithmic Matching: To operate algorithmic matching, AI recommendation, and ranking systems that connect Job Seekers and Employers. Where such automated processing has a material effect on the Job Seeker, Entri will provide meaningful information about the logic involved upon formal request.

  • Targeted Advertising & Marketing: To deliver personalized advertisements, promotional offers, and relevant career opportunities based on your demographic profile, platform activity, and professional interests, both on Entri Jobs and across third-party platforms.

Data Sharing and Joint Fiduciaries

  • The Employer Handoff: When a Job Seeker applies for a position, their data is transmitted to the Employer. Upon this transfer, both Entri and the Employer bear independent statutory obligations as Data Fiduciaries under the DPDP Act, 2023, for their respective processing activities.

  • Service Providers & Analytics: We share data strictly on a Data Processor basis with trusted cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, GCP) and customer engagement/analytics platforms (e.g., MoEngage) to optimize platform delivery.

  • Financial Partners: Relevant identifiers are shared with payment gateways to process fees and assess lead quality. Entri does not store complete credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs.

  • Advertising & Marketing Partners: We may share pseudonymized demographic and behavioral data with third-party advertising networks (such as Google Ads or Meta) to serve targeted advertisements. We do not share personally identifiable contact information (like your name or phone number) with these ad networks without your explicit consent. You may opt out of this targeted tracking via our cookie consent banner.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Entri Jobs uses session and persistent cookies to track user preferences. A granular cookie consent banner is provided upon your first visit, allowing you to opt-out of non-essential tracking cookies without loss of core platform functionality.

Data Security and Breach Notification

Entri implements commercially reasonable security practices and procedures commensurate with the information assets being protected, in line with applicable Indian data protection laws including the SPDI Rules, 2011. In the event of a personal data breach, Entri will notify the Data Protection Board and all affected data principals within the statutory timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act, 2023.

Where Entri becomes aware that a child has registered, the account and all associated data will be deleted promptly, subject only to overriding legal retention requirements.
